Two sisters, two artistic talents welcomed public, friends and art fans with a warm cheese and wine reception recently at the Lake Worth Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery. Nora Solomon and Diana Bursztein, sisters from New York, are now living in Palm Beach County. Nora, a Stained Glass artist and Diana a Watercolors and Acrylics painter.
About Nora Solomon: “I have always been intrigued by the art of stained glass, therefore, when the Community Center where I lived back in the late 1980’s gave a class, I took it.
I have been hooked ever since. Although I sometimes create the more traditional stained glass art, I prefer to do whatever comes to my mind. I like to incorporate old and new jewelry, stone, shells, beads, or whatever I think suits the piece that I am creating.

About Diana Bursztein: “I started my artistic journey as an art major, and began with pen and ink, evolving into watercolor and acrylics. I have participated in workshops, indoor and outdoor exhibitions, and I’m grateful to have received several awards. My paintings are hanging in galleries, public buildings and private collections. The love of color, composition and texture brought me to the jewelry side of art as well. Today I enjoy painting as well as designing and creating necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pendants. The Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery is located at 15 South J Street in downtown Lake Worth. Hours are Sunday thru Thursday, 10AM-6PM. Friday and Saturday, 10AM-10PM. Specials events the first and third Friday of each month from 6-10 PM “with music, cheese and beverages”.
